We are currently in Phase 2 of our Visitations. These are visitations by

Grove
Mount Residential Home Visitation Policy - Phase 2
As
a response to COVID-19 Coronavirus community
cases, Grove Mount
Residential Home regularly reviews
decisions towards
visitations, taking into
account updated information and relevant guidance from Manx
Care. We
are now in a position to move to the second
phase of our return to our ‘new normal’ services within Grove
Mount Residential Home.
At
this time, it is still not safe to have visitors coming and going
freely; therefore, visits will need to be scheduled to ensure the
safety of all residents and staff. Masks must be worn at all times
within Grove Mount Residential Home.
The
following will be needed for the visit to take place:
No
more than TWO visitors
a visit
Visit
must be scheduled via telephone ahead of time
Lateral
Flow Test kits are available and must be done before the visitations
On
arrival your visitor registration form will be collected which is
available at the entrance as
well as on our website. This
form must be completed prior to each visit.
We
ask that you allow us to do a temperature check. For the safety of
residents and staff, temperatures must be below 37.8
Hand
hygiene procedures must be followed, and you will be supplied with
appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which must be used
at all times
Social
distancing must be maintained at all time while visiting. We
appreciate that our loved ones wish to be close but please try to
ensure that you keep your social distance to keep them as well as
other residents and staff safe.
We
appreciate that these times have been difficult for everyone and that
many wish to visit freely with their loved ones; however, at this
time there are still many risks in doing so. Please understand that
for the safety of our residents, your loved ones, and our staff, we
ask that you adhere to the listed above.
Grove
Mount Residential Home will continually assess and review the
situation and information from Public Health and Infection Control to
make progress in easing restrictions as swiftly and safely as
possible. We will continue to keep you updated on any changes as we
make them.
If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at
812173.
Thank
you for your continued understanding with changes as they occur.
